Job description

As a Civil Engineering Degree Apprentice in our Roads team in Belfast, you will be supporting your team on local and national projects. You will work on a range of projects at all stages of the infrastructure delivery including major projects and local improvements including active travel, walking and cycle schemes.

Responsibilities

  • Creating 2D drawings and 3D modelling using software such as AutoCAD
  • Supporting work on the design of local and national highways projects
  • Working with design teams to collate information and reports for clients

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • You will have achieved 5 GCSE’s grade C/Level 5 or above including English, Maths and Science.
  • You will have achieved or be predicted A Levels (or equivalent) with grades BBC. To study Engineering subjects you will need a grade C in Maths or further Maths.
  • Or you will have achieved or be predicted a BTEC Extended Diploma (Level 3) with grades DDM in an engineering-related subject with a further Maths component.
